This FREE public forum is an opportunity for community members to listen to and ask questions of candidates running in the 2011 provincial election. The focus of this forum is community safety. The candidates will give a brief introduction. There will be three community panelist, one talking on youth safety issues, one on women's and family safety and one on aboriginal safety. Each panelist will have two minutes to raise one point and pose a question to candidates about their safety topic.Then we will open it up to questions from the community.Confirmed speakers include:
Andrew Swan (NDP, current MLA for Minto)
Belinda Squance (PC candidate for Minto)
Don Woodstock (Liberal candidate for Minto)Floyd Wiebe will be moderating the forum. Come out and make your voices heard. Don't forget to vote on Oct. 4.
